BRAINBOX Daphne Fowler had two reasons to celebrate last week - because while the Weston grandmother was winning the coveted Channel Four quiz title 15 to 1, granddaughter Gemma Hudson was bagging a top dancing award.
Former Brain of Britain Daphne won the popular quiz for the first time and also secured her third top-of-the-finals-board trophy.
And at the same time, 10-year-old Gemma was winning the plaudits for her comedy turn at the Bristol Dance Eisteddfod.
The talented youngster - who has been dancing with the Tina Counsell School or Dance since she was three - performed a court jester routine which won the judges' favour.
And the secret of the family success? Daphne explained: "We work hard. That's why we win."
